    • Most of the staff were friendly, and the location is great.
    • The hotel is close to Roppongi, and to the Hiro-o subway station.

    Cons -

    • Dirty bathroom. So much mold I could see in the bathroom. I don¿t know why they don¿t clean off the mold although they are removable easily.
    • Pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Some of the staff were very rude. Listing said "breakfast included", but I was told the opposite after checking in, and they didn't offer to resolve it.
    • I've stayed at this hotel before, and never had a problem with wanting to check in a little bit early. However, this time I was charged 2,000 yen--1,000 yen per hour--to check in at 1 pm. I'll think twice about staying here again, because of this.

The hotel is located in Nishi Azabu, an area that is in between Roppongi and Hiroo.

The rooms are incredibly small, even by Tokyo standards. The staff is reluctant to do little things, like letting a departing guest leave with the front desk some mail to be posted.

    Location

    Much smaller than advertised

Warm welcome & Room was tight but comfortable. Great location.

    10KsawierPosted on: 1-19-2026

the location is really easy to travel from, there is a metro and bus stop in walking distance. and the hotel is placed in a more quiet area of tokyo, which in my opinion is nice since after a long day of exploring all the busy places its nice to relax at a nice and quiet place

well the room was a little smaller than expected, but that’s hardly a complaint since i chose a smaller room. but other than that i have no real complaints

APA does not offer a laundry service, and charges 2,000 yen for each hour of a late check out. Didn’t this use to be free. Time to look for a new hotel.

The rooms are EXTREMELY (nothing like a standard American hotel), but it's a perfectly adequate place to sleep (not so to "hang out".) Quick walk to the subway and some good sights (highly recommend the Mori Arts Center both for its exhibits and its view of Tokyo). Absolutely a good value for the money.

Ideal Location to Tour Tokyo Within the Budget;Close Stores & Relaxing Atmosphere

The Train Station Was a Little Far

The location was alright, the room clean and partially newly refurbished. Though the bathroom still had a very tall old bathtub (but all clean) and the mattress was likely old too.I paid 6,364 Yen (about US$ 40) for a night, which is definitely fair. But I would not want to pay any more than that for this kind of room.

I have never been to a room smaller than this one. Some capsule hotels offer more space, seriously. There was not even 25 cm (10 inches) of space between the bed and the desk chair. And just enough room at the foot of the bed to fit a suitcase. Bigger folks will not be able to enjoy this room. The bed mattress was terribly sagged at the center on the accessible side next to the desk chair. Sleeping on it felt more like sleeping on a croissant shape rather than on a flat mattress. One would guess the mattress had likely been used for ages...

Affordable, comfortable, staff very nice. Great location.

    Great location

Very small room. Find space for luggages in the room could be a challenge… not able to access luggages easily

    8ChristopherPosted on: 12-24-2025

Close enough to walk back from Shibuya if you needed to

A little out of the way from main train lines and the pillows are pretty uncomfortable.

    10MaximilianoPosted on: 12-6-2025

The room was small but for a solo traveler needing a private space to sleep at a low cost you couldn't ask for anything more

    8Tatiana M.Posted on: 12-5-2025

Location and fair priceAll the staff speak English, polite and helpful

-Little bit of dirty on the toilet floor -Microwave only first floor-I didn’t like to tissue type, way too small, conventional like box is much better

    9SashaPosted on: 11-6-2025

The location of the hotel was great and it was the least expensive hotel in the area. There were restaurants close by and the train stations within walking distance.

The room was quite small, with there being two of us, I would have preferred a bit more space.

    5Ana M.Posted on: 11-1-2025

    The location

The initial room that I got was disgustingly dirty. It had clipped nails on the floor, and the chair was maybe yellow from a soup. There were nuts and crumbs on the floor… the staff was great and moved me to a much larger and impeccable room in a corner on the sixth floor, and that was completely different and good experience.

    8CamillePosted on: 10-26-2025

Staff were very nice. All the things that could be cleaned were.

There was clearly mold growing in the bathroom; you could see it in all the corners of the walls. The room smelled like it, too. Also, the location is a little bit of a dead zone if you're visiting for fun (comparatively because it is, of course, still Tokyo), and it's a bit of a walk to get to bigger clusters of interesting places.

I liked the cleanliness, the fresh towels service and the optional room cleaning service sticker on the door

The tabaco smell. The room smelled like cigarettes.
